June 21, 2012. International youth delegates occupied the corridor of the UN summit on Thursday afternoon and tore up a symbolic declaration called “The Future We Bought” to denounce the cooptation of the negotiations by corporate interests. The occupation lasted three hours while a Peoples Assembly was held, with participants from around the world mic -checked by the occupiers. The protestors left the summit grounds without incident after concluding their assembly. Watch the clips below.
